Montara Capital Partners has assembled a world-class management team and set of advisors representing over 60 years of real estate, private equity, strategy, and legal experience at firms such as Broadreach Capital, JPMorgan Partners, SSR Realty Advisors, Bain & Company, and Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati. Montara's strengths lie in identifying investment opportunities, deal structuring, tax organization and project management. Montara's management team has more than $475 million in transaction experience over the past 20 years.

Robert Ball
Bob has a 20-year background in negotiating, acquiring, developing and managing real estate and real estate developments, during which he has developed property with a total value of nearly $250 million.  He and his fellow partners of various development entities are an Oregon-based group of real estate investors which together and individually in total have completed transactions totaling over $1 billion in real estate value.  This shared pool of knowledge and experience has helped Mr. Ball capitalize on a number of successful residential, retail and commercial office developments.  Bob also has had his own property management companies for nearly 20 years and has successfully managed commercial, retail and residential properties.  Bob is an active civic leader in Portland, and he currently sits on the Mayor’s charter commission and the North of Lovejoy planning group.  He has also been a volunteer reserve police officer for nearly 11 years and currently serves as the captain, the highest ranking officer, of the volunteer reserve division.  Bob attended the University of Oregon and majored in Business.

Zachary Bogue
Zack previously worked as a corporate and securities lawyer at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati, in Palo Alto, California, focusing on the representation of emerging growth companies, with a particular emphasis on securities issues and transactional matters. He represented privately held and public companies in a broad range of capacities, including formation, venture capital financings, public offerings, mergers & acquisitions, international transactions and public company SEC reporting.  Zack also has several years of private real estate investment experience buying, rehabilitating and selling residential properties in Baltimore, Maryland. Zack graduated with honors from Harvard University in Environmental Science with an Emphasis in Business & Economics and earned his JD with honors from Georgetown Law School, where he was executive editor for The Tax Lawyer. Zack is an active member of the California State Bar and a licensed California real estate broker.

Hal Morris
Hal has over fifteen years of experience in residential and commercial real estate investment. He also is the founder of a home security company headquartered in Orlando, FL and serves on the Boards of several companies in which he has made angel investments. Hal enjoyed a 13 year Major League Baseball career in which he played on the 1990 World Series Champion Cincinnati Reds. Hal holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Michigan and an MBA from Stanford University.

Andrew Kahn
Andrew is a founder and current manager of Partners for Growth, a structured debt fund. Andrew has been providing financing to emerging growth businesses for over 18 years. Most recently Andrew was a General Partner of JP Morgan Partners, managing two venture capital funds and leading the buyout/growth equity practice on the West Coast. He previously was a General Partner of Hambrecht & Quist's $330 million late stage venture capital fund. Andrew held several other positions within Hambrecht & Quist during his nine-year tenure. These include as a Managing Director of the Investment Bank, including acting as a senior banker for H&Q's own IPO in 1996, and President of H&Q Guaranty Finance, the firm's venture lending subsidiary. Prior to H&Q, Andrew was a Program Manager at the Massachusetts Industrial Finance Agency. Andrew has a bachelor's degree from the University of Michigan.

Michael Hochanadel
Michael Hochanadel is an executive with Staubach Capital Markets, the investment banking arm of The Staubach Company.   In this capacity he assists in providing national capital markets expertise and accounting, tax and financial structure knowledge to help corporate clients develop optimal real estate finance solutions. During his time at Staubach, Michael has participated in several large and complex transactions including build to suit financings, portfolio sale leasebacks and partnership recapitalizations. Michael has been integral in executing high profile transactions for clients such as T-Mobile, Westinghouse, Time Warner Cable, SAVVIS Communications and Pfizer. Michael obtained his MBA from New York University's Stern School of Business. At Stern he concentrated in Finance and Accounting with a specific emphasis on Real Estate Finance and Development. His research on credit analysis and pricing and the relationship between corporate tenant distressed and real asset values received national recognition. He is a member of the national business school honor society Beta Gamma Sigma. Michael received his bachelor's degree from Harvard University. Michael volunteers as a member of the board of directors for The Green School, a charter school in Queens, New York focused on incorporating environmentalism into the core curriculum.

Trevor Wilson
Mr. Wilson has invested in over $1 billion in office, industrial, retail, and housing properties and developments during his career. Trevor is currently a Senior Director at Broadreach Capital Partners overseeing the firm's investment activity in the Pacific Northwest and San Francisco. Previously, Mr. Wilson was employed by JPMorgan Partners, where he was responsible for the firm's acquisition and assets management activities in the western United States. Prior to JPMP, Mr. Wilson spent 7 years with SSR Realty Advisors as a director of portfolio management, development, and acquisitions with a specific focus on development and existing property investments in primary western and mid-western markets. Mr. Wilson received a bachelor of science degree in Business Administration from Bucknell University and an MBA from the University of Michigan.  He is a member of the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties and the Urban Land Institute.
